Love Emblem

Adam P. Steele, 34, of Breitung Township, was called home this past weekend on Saturday, August 20, 2011. He was born on February 28, 1977 in Iron Mountain, son of Virginia “Ginny” (Gagne) and the late Dave Steele. He attended school in Kingsford, graduating from Kingsford High School in 1996. He worked in Tool Control at MJ Electric for the past 13 years.

Adam loved racing anything with wheels, and some things without. He was always the life of the party, and lit up a room just by walking into it. He could always be counted on for a laugh, and was also the most tender-hearted person, caring for abandoned fawns, birds and mice. He loved his family and his friends, and was only happy when others were smiling with him. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, and will continue to live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

Adam is survived by his mother, Virginia “Ginny” Steele of Breitung Township, his sister, Charlotte (Scott) Bray of Kingsford, his brother, David John (Penny Paquin) Steele of Iron Mountain, numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins, and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Dave Steele on June 13, 2011.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00pm to 6:30pm at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. The funeral service will follow at 6:30pm at the funeral home. Rev. David Anderson will officiate.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in his memory.

Condolences may be expressed to the family of Adam P. Steele online at www.ernashfuneralhomes.com

The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the funeral arrangements.
