Lawrence (Larry) A. Underhill

65, of Norway, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 1, 2012. He was born on October 2, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Robert A. and Grace R. (Smith) Underhill. He attended Cleveland State University where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration. He married the former Vicki Perkins on October 18, 1969, and together they spent nearly 43 years together. He was employed as Adjunct Faculty at Bay College West Campus. While employed there he was awarded the Outstanding Part-Time Faculty Award 2012. He was also the former owner of the Norway Current for 15 years. Larry was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, the Sons of the American Legion Squad 0145, and the Masonic Lodge #362 Norway-Free and Accepted Masons.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Vicki Underhill of Norway; daughter, Kristin L. Underhill of Holland,MI and son, Spencer (Sarah) Underhill of Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jade Li VanHaitsma, Evan and William Underhill; a brother, Robert (Elinor) Underhill; sister and brother in-law, Janelle (Paul) Cole of Conneaut, Ohio

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 10 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain. The memorial service will follow at 5:00 pm at the church. Rev. Lee Liverance will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his memory.
