NIAGARA, Wis. - Lillian A. Struebing, 98, of Hamilton Lakes, formerly of Niagara, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.

She was born on April 4, 1909, in Clintonville, Wis., the daughter of the late Peter and Elizabeth (Marquard) DeClark.

Lillian was a cook at Freeman's Convalescent Home. She enjoyed crocheting and going to the casino. Lillian also had a green thumb. She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church.

She married Lester Struebing on March 24, 1928, in Iron Mountain. He preceded her in death in 1984.

Lillian is survived by one daughter, Dorleen "Dolly" (Ernest) Vivio; one daughter-in-law, Marilyn Struebing; one brother, Arnold (Ilene) DeClark of Yorba Linda, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Ernest (Hilda) Vivio Jr., Linda Vivio, Susan (Mike) Grandaw, Jim (Carol) Vivio, Karen (Keith) Dennis, Gary Vivio, Dawn Struebing, and Rick Struebing; 20 great-grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren; a special nephew, Everett Peterson; a special friend, Vickie Nault, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Gerald Struebing, one daughter, Geraldine Struebing, one grandson, Kerry Struebing, four brothers, Ernest, Louis, Emil, and Rueben DeClark and one sister, Edna Peterson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 p.m. to 3 pm at Riverside United Methodist Church in Niagara.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Rev. Patricia Herdt will officiate.

Burial will be in Cemetery Park.
